Dazer is constructed using the Jacquard technique. Its airy double weave unites two-coloured yarn blends of linen and polyester to create a third colour mix. The distinctive depth and subtle three-dimensionality of the design is achieved via a balanced shrinking process, an aero finish, and tumbling. Dazer’s pattern is reminiscent of the complex reflections of sunlight filtering through the leaves of trees. It comes in nuanced, natural notes, inspired by faded fibres from plants, such as bast and hemp.
Lightfastness relates to the ability of a textile to retain its colour under light. When testing for lightfastness, samples are exposed to artificial daylight for a specified period.
The evaluation scale ranges from 1 (worst) to 8 (best). An increase of one point corresponds to a doubling of the lightfastness, i.e. the same fading takes twice as long.

Care instructions curtain textiles
Regular cleaning is important in order to keep the curtain textile looking its best and to prolong its life. Dust and dirt wear down the textile and also reduce its fire-retardant properties.
If possible, we recommend washing curtains once a year. If used heavily, a more frequent cleaning may be appropriate. All curtain fabrics by Kvadrat and Kinnasand are supplied bearing a maintenance label. We recommend the use of a light duty detergent without optical brighteners for all items in which, according to care instructions, washing is possible. In order to reduce the risk of allergy problems, we recommend to use washing detergents that do not contain optical bleach, perfume or colorants. Please take into account a possible shrinkage between 1 – 3 %. For more detailed information, we recommend contacting a professional dry cleaner and/or laundry. A professional dry cleaner may also assist in working out maintenance schedules which ensure that the fabrics are maintained properly so that a good indoor climate and maximum duration of the curtains are achieved.
